Our experience with Bill Terhorst was outstanding! We initially met him when we were in the early stages of shopping for a new vehicle last fall. We weren’t quite ready to make a purchase at that point, but Bill took his time with us, and we never felt pressured. As a family man himself, he understood the needs of our family and that buying a new car isn’t something to rush into. We knew when the time came to buy a new vehicle that we absolutely wanted to work with Bill. In fact, he is the reason we didn’t even bother shopping around at other dealers. We didn’t want to buy a car from any other salesperson. We felt we could trust him, and that is increasingly rare these days. When we came back last week to make a purchase, Bill was fantastic. We spent an afternoon/evening going back and forth between two different models, and Bill was extremely patient with us as we weighed the pros and cons of each, went on several test drives, etc. It started getting late, and we needed to get home to feed our kids dinner. Even though we weren’t able to complete the sale that day, Bill was patient, courteous and understanding. Easiest car purchase ever. Dominic was amazing and made the whole process so simple. He’s incredibly friendly and easy to work with. He was transparent about the add-ons and honest with his recommendations and thoughts about the accessories, which was a refreshing change from the sales experiences I’ve had in the past at other dealerships. Stephanie went over paperwork with me and she took the extra time to thoroughly answer my questions give me details about the things I didn’t understand. After signing all the paperwork, Dominic brought me to the car and took his time explaining some of the cool and unique features about the car. And he didn’t make me feel rushed or silly when I asked a million questions about all the buttons in and functions of the car. I could tell he genuinely cared about me being comfortable and confident with the purchase. And the relationship didn’t end after I left the dealership. Dominic actually reached out a few days later to check in and see how things were going with the car, which is outstanding customer service in my opinion. Valley Honda is currently remodeling— but you’d never know it. Everything ran just as smoothly (if not more so) as if it were their permanent building. Everyone, from the sales manager Katy and Luis in finance, were great. But the number 1 reason this was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had is the sales rep, Nick Theodor. He was energetic and enthusiastic and kept us happy and hydrated through the whole process. I cannot recommend him and Valley Honda enough!

My purchase of a 2026 Honda Passport was a great experience. I went to a dealer in another state to do some pre-work before traveling back to IL so my first contact was via email and text to research Valley Honda's invetory and pricing. David helped me through the process providing information on the models and the costs. I was pleasantly surprised that there were essentially no hidden fees when we reviewed the costs. I reserved the car prior to traveling back to IL and David had the car ready and waiting for me when I arrived. He explained all of the features of the car and took me quickly through the paperwork (one of my requests was that this - buying a car - didn't turn into an all day activity). When David was done I had a quick interaction with Rose Hernandez - Finance Mgr. - who was also very helpful in finalizing the transaction. My wife and I recently emigrated from London and, although we love Illinois, everything a family requires to settle down has been a challenge, so far (renting an apartment, opening a bank account etc). We quickly realised that we can't live here without a car. We conducted a little research and decided Honda would be on our short list of vehicles to test drive. Valley Honda was recommended to us by a neighbour so we headed there first. We were introduced to Victor Ramirez who straight away made us feel welcome and he took us out to test two SUV models. He explained all of the technical/mechanical features clearly and concisely. It wasn't long before we realised this was the right choice and had no need to look any further. As the day rolled on, Victor went way above and beyond to ensure that we were fully informed and accommodated as the administrative process panned out. I was genuinely awestruck at how streamlined the experience turned out. We walked out of their office that evening feeling like kids on Christmas eve. A special shout-out to Mari who warmly guided us through the financial/legal process like we were chatting with one of our family or friends. Definitely a 5 star experience all round and highly recommended.
