If you’ve just bought a brand-new Honda vehicle, then you’ve made an excellent choice. The Honda Service Pass applies to all new Honda vehicles starting with the 2025 year, and coverage lasts for one year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first*.

What’s Included With the Honda Service Pass?

When you use the Honda Service Pass on your new vehicle, you’ll be able to receive the following services: 

• Standard oil and oil filter change 
• Tire rotation 
• Multi-point inspection

Important Honda Service Pass Features

While the routine services above are included in the Honda Service Pass, here are some additional pieces of information that Naperville drivers should know: 

• Maintenance Coverage: A1 and B1 services (oil change, oil filter, tire rotation), and the MPI (multi-point inspection) are determined by your Honda vehicle’s Maintenance Minder™.
• Maintenance Minder™: To take advantage of the Honda Service Pass, make sure that your Maintenance Minder™ is on. This way, you’ll also be able to receive alerts when your Honda vehicle is due for service. You can access the Maintenance Minder through the HondaLink® app**. 
• Honda Genuine Parts: With the Honda Service Pass, your vehicle will receive Honda genuine OEM parts when you have it serviced. Honda Genuine parts and oil must be used by participating dealerships (parts and oil as determined by AHM)
• Location: All maintenance included with the Honda Service Pass must occur at a participating dealership, like Valley Honda. 
• Vehicle Brands: Honda vehicles must be serviced at participating Honda dealerships.

• After 1 Year/12,000 Miles: After the one-year or 12,000-mile period, the Honda Service Pass expires. 

• Transfers: If you purchased an eligible Honda vehicle within its one-year or 12,000-mile period, the Honda Service Pass is transferable.

Is There a Limit on Maintenance During the 1-Year/12,000-Mile Coverage?

You can have one complimentary oil/filter change and tire rotation. You can receive the service your Honda vehicle needs as long as it’s recommended per the Maintenance Minder™. 

Does the Maintenance Minder™ Notification Have to Be On?

Yes, the Maintenance Minder™ needs to be turned on for you to take advantage of the Honda Service Pass. 

Will There Be a Grace Period After 1 Year/12,000 Miles?

Unfortunately, the Honda Service Pass expires after the one-year/12,000-mile period, so be sure to take advantage of this amazing service feature!

Is the Honda Service Pass Transferable?

Absolutely! If the vehicle is sold within the one-year/12,000-mile period, then the Honda Service Pass is transferable. The new owner will receive whatever is left of the Honda Service term limits.
