Nestled just 35 miles west of Chicago, the village of North Aurora, Illinois is the perfect location for Valley Honda to serve. With its large green spaces, vibrant downtown area, and reputation for having the largest Auto Mall retail setting in the Fox Valley, this village is one of the best places to live—and shop for a new car—in the Chicago area.
North Aurora's History
This community was originally founded in 1834 and was known as Schneider’s Mill or Schneider’s Crossing after John Peter Schneider, a German immigrant who established a mill in the location. It was renamed to its current nomenclature, though, due to the fact that it is located just north of the city of Aurora. Since its establishment, North Aurora has grown to a population of 16,760 people.
North Aurora Attractions
Throughout North Aurora, its residents and visitors will find a vast array of parks, bike trails, and a nature center. These attractions make the village an appealing place to settle, especially since the park system offers a number of activities for people of all ages and skill levels.
With a motto like “The Village with a View of the Future,” it should come as no surprise that North Aurora is always looking to the future. Because of this, Valley Honda is proud to call this wonderful village home.
