If you’re looking to upgrade your commute on Naperville and Chicago roads then you owe it to yourself to read the 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback reviews. Critics are praising this unique Civic model for its consistent performance, safety, and available feature which also leaves room for drivers to make it all their own. See what the industry experts had to say in the Honda Civic hatchback reviews at Valley Honda.

What Do the 2020 Honda Civic Hatch Reviews Have to Say?

  • J.D. Power: “Five trim levels filled with safety features, comfortable finishes, and techie extras create the Honda Civic Hatchback, a compact and fuel-efficient model in the Civic lineup. The base LX gets a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, a rearview camera, Hill Start Assist, a 5-inch color touchscreen, and a Continuously Variable Transmission. The next trim level, Sport, has the same engine with slightly more horsepower, and adds fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and sport pedals. EX boasts a power moonroof, remote start, heated front seats, and Apple and Android integration, while the EX-L Navi adds a Honda satellite-linked navigation system and leather-trimmed seats. The highest tier, Sport Touring, adds onto the previous trims with chrome door handles, a 12-speaker premium audio system, rain-sensing windshield wipers, paddle shifters, and an underbody spoiler kit. Drivers can customize the Civic Hatchback with various wheels and other standalone options, like door edge guards and chrome door trim, plus packages like a Performance Package with exclusive badging, floor mats, and brake rotors.”
  • Edmunds: “All Civic trims also get additional features from the Honda Sensing bundle, which is now standard. It includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and lane departure warning with lane keeping assist. The Civic already had several advantages over competitors, and this addition of safety equipment is yet another.”
  • Car and Driver: “With its 2020 update for the Civic hatchback lineup, Honda has remedied one of our few complaints with this model. While the sparsely equipped Sport trim level used to be the only trim available with the fantastic six-speed manual transmission, the Civic hatchback’s fully loaded Sport Touring trim level is now offered with a stick. The Sport trim itself also gets more standard equipment for 2020 to go along with the minor styling tweaks that the 2020 Civic hatch now shares with the recently refreshed sedan and coupe models.”
  • The Car Connection: “The 2020 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring is the best of both worlds. It comes with luxury items such as leather, navigation, a premium 540-watt audio system, power adjustable front seats, and upgraded headlights for $29,780 for the CVT-equipped version, which is a $100 increase. The Sport Touring hatchback with a 6-speed manual transmission, which is new this year, costs $28,980.”
